I'm curious as to why you decided to make this Sepia?

I always think sepia is classic. Taisho chic.
Sepia reminds me of the B&W films of Ozu, which are about traditional life vs. modernity.
Also, one kimono in color in nice, but more than one might be a bit much when seen from the back like this.

I'm curious how you will present yours. You got much closer. I was afraid of distracting from the feeling of the event.

very nice, I'm enjoying the subtle differences of obi textures here.

I was just re-watching Tokyo Story last night.... :) The participant's distinctive hand bags are also an interesting, but unintentional (on their part) element to this photograph.

Sorry I missed meeting up with you yesterday! Seems like you all had a great time.

Thanks. Yes, it is easier to enjoy in monochrome, ne?

I am sure nothing was unintentional at that event, but imagine they didn't expect so much attention from that angle.

Sorry we missed you. It was a fun two hours break. Back to work and packing now though.
