Erie Playhouse, Erie, PA
The vicinity of the hotel contained a number of interesting buildings. Directly across the street was the Erie Playhouse, a community performance theater located in the former Strand Theatre downtown.
Although the rounded font used on the "Erie Playhouse" sign screams 1970s, the theater opened in its current incarnation in 1983.
