Inside the Bayfront Convention Center, Erie, PA
Wednesday coincided with the beginning of the official convention, and therefore the move-in to the convention hall. The Bayfront Convention Center was nearly brand new (the building opened in 2007) and had a very attractive location literally overlooking the shore of Lake Erie.
For what it's worth the 2009 convention was originally supposed to be located near Pittsburgh, not Erie, but the original convention hall supposedly went bankrupt and shuttered its doors, forcing a scramble for a new location. But all's well that ends well...
