lunar eclipse 3/4 march

    Newer Older

00:00 : The storm had passed, but the solid bank of cloud stayed on. With nothing to shoot, I packed up and went inside to post up the shots I had...
00:15 : Mark knocked and my door and asked "What you doing? I'm watching a lunar eclipse!" Took me about 2 mins to get set up. Thanks, pal :)) This is what I got between 00:17 and 03:14. Then the coulds (fluffier and gentler, but no less sight-stealing...) rolled in again.

You shoot what nature gives you.......:)

I was out of town with my camera and forgot my tripod:-( I caught some of it, but I knew you would have a great representation if the weather was good. Really Fantastic!!

Just wondering where you live to be able to catch the whole eclipse from start to finish? From where I am you had to see the first half on TV in Baghdad then several hours later the last half could be seen here when the sun went down. Huh?

.....And, in this case, Nature afforded you the oportunity to catch something very special..........and you did so, very very well.
I was actually trawling Flickr for another interpretation of the eclipse but, when I found yours, I left it at that. Certainly one of the very best renditions and an instant fave. (Sorry, I do go on a bit!)
