Thought it was time that I tried another RegularJoe effect shot. My photoshop skills must be improving...I could actually follow most of his tutorial this time :))
The building is close to the diepsloot Skwatakamp.

regularjoe, Elnath/Hiang, and 6 other people added this photo to their favorites.

I wish I could do as good my friend, just the right amount of effects to keep a realistic tone ... great one.

Great Shot and editing. I would be curious to see it pre photoshop just see before and after.

The one thing I would note, is that the 'despair' title seems a bit out of place, possibly because of the overall brightness of the image. Regardless I really like it.

: Your wish is my...well, not really...:) OK..
The base image is a composite of two RAW images, layered, masked and transformed to register correctly. This gave me a single base JPG to start the "regularjoe" effect on.
These are the starter images after conversion from RAW. They're stored off-site so as not to clutter my stream...:)
You'll see that there's not a HUGE difference, and to my mind that's the art in the effect...a gentle bending of the truth...:)

Hey you did well here...I might just have to follow this link ;-))
What a great improvement.. but as you say not a drastic transformation....isn't it amazing what you can do in PS...

Great editing. The end effect is working very well. The sky makes me think there might be a little bit of hope in the despair.
