This is the beginning of the rekka-chuh life
I've been keeping this new kind've under my hat but I'm tired of waiting & decided to not make an accompanying video for this.
As I chronicled, I was having quite a time finding a place of my own but early, really early (note the taken photo date), I lucked into find a really amazing place at the complex of a family friend. Y'all, this is THE NICEST place I've EVER BEEN. The whole facility is like a series of gorgeous buildings and there an amazing wide open area that it like a courtyard of sorts to the buildings. I was really unsure about it at first, as I said it happened SUPER fast, but I grew to get excited.
That said, it took me the first week of April to move all of my things in (the tribute shot for Treyvon was taking admist my packing up actually) but I've only been here phsically the past two weeks, leaving my grammy's 2 days after my birthday fair. I'm still over her place for the weekends, as I work sundays and there isn't night or sunday service for the route that stops here, but I'm otherwise living by myself. There's still a bit of unpacking to do, and I'm still getting adjusted to having a place all my own & not being scared of it, but I'm very happy and have found the headway I made the past few days really helped me feel a bit more comfortable. It's not all the way as livable in the way my grandmother's place is (you never realize how many things you need to buy, things you never though of before) but I'm getting there.
