Despedida. Parque de El Capricho (Madrid). AGOSTO 2011.

Lady Áyden y Lady Elizabeth Anne Montgomery despidiéndose del parque de los Osuna.

Regency farewell. "El Capricho" Gardens, in Alameda de Osuna (Madrid), was originally created by Dª María Josefa Pimentel, Duchess of Osuna, between 1787 and 1839. Its many delights include amongst them the so-called Capricho Square, the palace, the pond, the Emperor's Plaza, and the Fountain with Dolphins and Frogs.

Its inspiration includes contemporary British, French and Italian sections, as per the artistic influences of El Capricho's designers. As the only remaining Romanticism gardens in Madrid, it boasts of a hedge labyrinth, wonderful buildings such as a small hermitage and a beautiful dancing hall, and a fascinating network of brooks and ponds well-travelled by ducks and swans. It was declared 'Artistic Gardens' in 1943 and 'Cultural Interest Site' in 1985.
