You guys really are too kind. A little later, I might have to do a shot of some of my blocks next to the book and you'll see that really I'm just following their lead with the layout of text on white. I've woke up so eager to work on these, but I have a long list swaps/bees due today. I'll be back at them right after!

And as mentioned the seed print is Annie's Farmstand from Lakehouse. I was hanging out for it for months and pre-ordered two colourways. Only this one arrived. When it did, I initially gasped and sighed. It was much starker than I imagined and very high contrast. Then I realized it would worked perfectly in small doses. I give it a big thumbs up.

ha ha - that's the one I just ordered on Etsy - only in the black background...I can't wait to start making this!

I tried to buy it in the black background but OverTheRainbow told me that it wasn't printed. I was going to use it in my pinwheel quilt. Though, honestly I don't really need it.

Brilliant, Amy! Using the Annie's Farmstand as you did makes the colors pop, and also adds interest itself. I love that fabric, both in black and red. Your choices and placement of the other fabrics are genius.
