Slightly edited shot of a biker in Amsterdam, reflected in a puddle. Taken with my Sony HX1. No editing besides some added contrast and saturation, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)
Amsterdam is the proud home of a whole fleet of Ghost Bikers, people who died in tragic, horrible accidents while riding on their steel horses, and sometimes didn't realize their own demise due to the speedy chain of events that can lead to such a horrible situation. A tram, car, or other biker might have hit them so fast, and so hard, that their souls got pushed out of their lifeless bodies without realizing it, doomed to circling the mean streets of Amsterdam on their ghostly bikes for eternity, or until somebody makes them watch the movie 'The Sixth Sense', and they realize that they are the Bruce Willis'es of bike-riding. The desired effect is of course that this new knowledge about their unfortunate status should shock them into transitioning into the next world and onto the eternal, giant and well-lit bike-path that is reserved for them in Heaven :-D
Have a good start into the new week!
