Afternoon Tea

A very English afternoon tea - scones with jam and cream. But how do you eat yours? Scone - jam - cream or scone - cream - jam? It's a thorny problem.


The Devon method is cream with jam on top, and the Cornwall version is buttered, spread with jam and then topped with cream.
