The Bodensee is a lake actually; non-Germans call it Lake Constance. The Zeppelin works are still nearby.

I have a whole collection of original photos taken around this time of the floating Zeppelin hangar and airships. I bought them when I was a kid, but the seller didn't tell me anything about where they came from. I guess I could dig them out and post them... it's such a fascinating era of human ingenuity and human eccentricity.

You should get them scanned, airships are wonderful machines. As an evolutionary dead end they seem very strange and unusual to me.
