the 'CURE'!!!

...NO - this isn't what you all THINK! - nothing to do with New Year's Eve. THIS the 'Winter Cure'. :) Great Grandma Mines - a tough 'ol gal - homesteader in South Dakota. When the kids (of any age :) had 'the cough' or 'the croup' - hot water, lemon, honey...& a shot of Brandy. Big or small. (kid size or shot...)

It may not cure you, but it'll knock you out & relax your chest so you can get some sleep!

Not many doctors back then...or Nyquil. But probably always brandy.

 

(& if you're lucky enough to make it through a winter without

a cold - I find it works real good on the

'SHIT!itsjanuaryimnotgonnamakeitthroughanotherwinter' blues', too.)
