A lot of people talk about climate change. It has implications for our very way of life. But what should be driving all of this care is a concern for the people who are suffering. In many cases, people who deserve it least. These are the people that the Red Cross Red Crescent work with.

It is impossible to forget the people suffering when you have sat staring into the imploring eyes of a woman who has lost her home and possessions and even family members to floods, and have told her her that things are going to get worse. When you have told her that things will get worse and it is not her fault.
