Long Homestead Bridge

Built in 1909, the bridge served as a means for the mules towing the barges along the Erie Canal to cross over Ellicott Creek. When those days ended, it was opened to automobile traffic for a short time. Today it is a pedestrian walkway from Gateway Harbor to the historic Long Homestead and Long Point Park.
