1951 RB Wills Pink Kitchen - Take 2

    Newer Older

Royal Barry Wills pink kitchen and plan.

Wills was particularly well-known for popularizing the Cape Cod house style from the 1930s through the 1950s. One can imagine this little kitchen overlooking a vegetable and herb garden at the rear of the house ... just outside the Dutch door, fresh white sheets billowing in the breeze ...

This MUST be the opposing side of the kitchen that has the cute little range top! This side is as cute as the other!

Love the little laundry nook across the way. Gosh the layout is just great! All that counter space is a cooks dream. The windows at the breakfast area would be a delightful place to take lunch. The little angled door over the wall ovens is the perfect place to hide potholders and a mum's snack stash!

Makes those over-sized kitchens with cherry cabinets, stainless appliances, and granite counters look kind of grotesque.

Very Cheery, but I would like a little more pink
