Sandy Relief

Long Beach, Long Island, November 19, 2012

A typical meal being provided to people working to recover from the destruction caused by Superstorm Sandy. This meal, consisting of a chicken breast, corn, bread, and fruit, was prepared at a huge mobile kitchen operated by the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and distributed by American Red Cross workers. On this day more than 8,000 meals such as the one pictured were distributed.
