The first line of storms across central Arkansas Sunday afternoon toppled trees onto homes and in turn pulled down power lines leaving several thousand without power. American Red Cross in Arkansas Disaster Teams provided emergency shelter and other disaster assistance for two families in Benton, 20 miles south of Little Rock, with trees damaging roofs.
