Relief in Haiti

American Red Cross relief worker Colin Chaperon and a Haitian Red Cross volunteer interview an orphan in Jacmel, southern Haiti. Ten children taking refuge here were orphaned from the deadly hurricanes. Street children staying in this government-run shelter with 500 other people are also receiving assistance and a stable “home.” The Red Cross is trying to link these children with family members using our vast networks and proven strategies.
