Zurich Graffiti I

Composite of graffiti I photographed walking through Zurich.

Lighting: One Sunpak 383 high on a boom arm, camera right (in small Alzo softbox). One Sunpak 383 on stand camera right, about knee high (in small Alzo softbox). One Sunpak 120J reflected into an umbrella camera left, TriLite Lastolite reflectors camera left below 120J. Triggering via Gadget Infinity radio triggers.

Processing: Layering in Photoshop, pavement and brick wall from Detroit, just outside St. Andrew's. Graffiti shot in Zurich.

I love graffiti because you never know what you’ll find. On the wall of Lowenbrau is a poster of Obama’s Hope, staring off into the future. On the opposite side on a wall a sticker reads, “911 was an inside job.” Across the river from the brewery I see the Star of David and a Swastika sprayed next to a sidewalk leading up to some houses.
