This image is for sale as a print starting from $10 at my Zenfolio:

San Francisco Embarcadero Center.

Note: I've had two Explored photos since I joined Flickr. Both of them are of spiral staircases in the San Francisco Embarcadero Center. I guess the Explore people like spiral staircases!

Feb 5, 2010: Thanks to everyone who has commented or favorited this image. And thanks to you who have blogged or reblogged this photo on Tumblr and made it go viral. I didn't realize this would be the best image of the day when I shot this and I certainly did not expect the overwhelming response I have received. I really appreciate all of your feedback and I hope you continue to enjoy this photo.

Feb 6, 2010: By the way, a tip for those of you who want to capture this image on your own. I shot it on an overcast afternoon (which is, as you know, pretty common for San Francisco) and I stopped down, I think to f/8 which is the sweet spot for my lens. Stopping down is important because that's how you keep the details in all the crazy lines. I know all the pros know this already, but if you're an amateur shooter like me, I thought this might be helpful. Also, this was shot at 18mm, but if I had a wider lens with me on that day, I would have switched for it.
