So, I am pretty much in love with this and want to make it, but what do you use the pudding and sprite for?
  • Aleta Meadowlark 6y

    WELL

You can read all about it on my blog post: omnomicon.blogspot.com/2009/01/how-to-make-rainbow-cake.html

    =)

The Sprite goes into the cake mix because I'm a little diety-McDieterstein (you'll need 24 oz of soda, or two cans), but you can use the regular ingredients or your own cake recipe. The pudding mix goes into the whipped topping to make a frosting. And you should double the ingredients as pictured here because the cake comes out a lot better (and fully frosted) that way.

    BTW, I love Surfjan Stevens . . . I'm assuming you're a fan. =)

hey, I like the pretty cake so much.
And I want to know the composition of the food colors that u used. Because the same one could not be found in my country. I wounder that I could find one with the same composition.
    Thank u :)

Limeizhu . . . you can use any food colouring you can find, but the more liquidy it is, the more you will have to add. And the more liquid you add, the longer you'll have to bake the cake. Good luck! =)
