For animated crowds, there are typically too many models to store with high polygon counts making it difficult to create realistic crowds. The solution? Use DirectX 11-based hardware tessellation to expand the resolution of models using ATI Radeon hardware. The result: Greatly enhanced crowd models with no extra memory footprint.
