I used to have one of these, a good work horse! Will make great labels and tags for things- I wonder where you'll get ribbons for it though? Do they still make typewriter ribbons?

There are places that sell ribbons, plus you can re-ink old ribbons. :^) I used to have quite a typewriter collection but I got rid of it all when I made a big move. :^( I miss my beautiful all-green typewriter the most. I was insane.

re-inking! that is brilliant. I would love to hear how.

I could collect typewriters. But then I would be collecting another thing. Yarn, scarves, vintage aprons and rocks are enough :)

I'm not sure *how* it's done, but I do know it can be done.

It's hard to resist the urge to collect. I try not to define anything as a collection, even when I notice I have more than three of it. :^)

whoa more typewriter collectors! I thought I was the only crazy one. LOL. Old typewriters and cameras are purty. I'm glad to have found people who appreciate the same things.

Typewriter fans unite! I wasn't a writer until I bought my first typewriter. Typewriters are wonderful Muses. This one here is a hottie.

My mum had one of these (same manufacturer, same colour) - no idea what she did with it, but it probably went to a jumble sale or eBay. Almost wish I'd asked her for it, in case civilisation collapses and we can't use PCs or something... ;-)

I'd like to use the pic too. Would that be ok and if so what sort of credit would you like?
