Diamond ring

    Newer Older

My mother asked me to take some nice pictures of this ring, so that we can sell it. It suprised me how difficult it was to get the angle, lighting, and everything just right. Even fresh out of the cleaning solution, being handed by nothing but a fresh lens cloth, and blown dry by a can of compressed air, it still took some work to touch out every last speck of dust on it.
This is a 0.31 carat diamond, F color, SI2 clarity, set in a platinum ring.

If I was the buyer I'd be pretty pissed if you "cleaned up" i.e. photoshoped any flaws it might have. but if it was just dust, then you did a really good job with this one.

No, didn't photoshop out any flaws.. I just avoided photographing them in the first place. :)
