Pastel Paper Flowers

These pastel paper roses were made out of coffee filters. I first took the filters and placed them in an assortment of food colors. I wanted a pastel look so just dipped 50 or so of them at a time and left them in the die for about 20 seconds. I let them dry overnight and then twisted the bottoms of each filter to create this beautiful paper rose. The die will randomly color the flowers giving them this faded vintage look. I used my flowers to make garlands, faux flowers on sticks we found for a container display, as well as created a beautiful bonnet and bloomers for a baby out of them. Have fun and be sure to let me see what creations you create with your paper roses!
