Trout Lake, Yellowstone National Park, USA

I missed the sunrise light because I went to see wildlife early in the morning. By the time I came back to this place, the sun was high in the sky. If I ever go back to this place, I'll plan to be at the site at sunrise or sunset.

Until very recently, I didn't know narrowest apertures do not give the sharpest images with all foreground, midground, and background, in focus. Next time, I'd use f/16 or f/18.

I used a tripod and focused on the trees (now I know trees are not the best point to focus on for a shot like this) but still they are not sharp. It should be because of the very narrow aperture I used.
