View large on black for details. A giant 134MP collage I assembled out of 9 original 21MP long exposure photos. This Ferris wheel monster is 12250 x 10996 pixels, that's nearly 61 x 55 inches if it was printed at 200 dpi, almost 5 ft by 4.5 ft. The final image is too big for Flickr, but you can have a look a quarter resolution. I'm actually pretty tempted to print it, we shall see what the good people at McGreevy ProLab have to say. There is a bit of a private joke here, with respect to the power of gimmicks and panoramas. The glare in the lower left corner, close to the umbrella, is a bright light on the beam supporting the wheel.

Update: I printed this piece at 33 x 30 inches, my largest to date. It was accepted in the 75th Exhibition by Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson Region, on display at the Albany Institute of History and Art until September 4, 2011. Update on the update: this piece is now on display at one of my favorite place, Ric Orlando's New World Bistro Bar in Albany.
