Kidzania

Newer Older

Took the kids to Kidzania here in Tokyo. Place is an indoor attraction that allows kids to pretend they're adults doing adult jobs such as: pilot, doctor, police, electrician, gas station attendend (seen here), etc...

A blast for the kids as you can really see their eyes light up when they do the "job" and even more so when they get *paid* (in Kidzania dollars) for the work rendered!

In-camera HDR shot (tripod mounted this time) our boys "working" as gas station attendants.

Tokyo, Japan.

Wonderful HDR - love the sky! Also, seeing the kids in different costumes/job roles was fun too. Got a kick out of the photographer one.

The amount of corporate branding seems intense! But, it's all in a good days worth of advertising :) Wish I had found that place for my kids when we lived there.

    Much appreciated y'all!

Certainly a lot of branding there. Makes good business sense as the companies themselves pay all the outlay and the Kidzania folks keep the receivables...

I am so in love with this concept! How cool is that?!?! It's pretty awesome to be able to "try" out jobs, even as kids. At the very least, it will give them more respect for other jobs out there and how hard people work at them!

Interesting to see and hear a little about Tokyo - somewhere I doubt I shall ever get to - Flickr tourism is quite a bonus :)
