Bluebell Railway 2019
Welcome to a selection of pictures from my visits to the Bluebell Railway in 2019.

I made my first visit of 2019 for the Branch Line Gala. Visiting this year was O2 no.24 'Calbourne' from the IOWSR, making only her second visit to the main line in preservation and she was joined by 0298 'Well Tank' no.30587 from the NRM. They joined home fleet O1 no.65, P no.178, Q no.30541 and H no.263. Two additional stars were in the form of out of ticket fellow LSWR locos Adams Radial no.30583 and B4 no.30096 'Normandy' both re-liveried into matching BR Black and all four LSWR locos were to form a cavalcade from Sheffield Park to Horsted Keynes for a photo line up on the Friday evening.

Our second visit was for the Giants of Steam. Originally it was due to have two true 'giants' of the preserved steam world, Britannia no.70000 'Britannia' from of Icons of Steam and Duchess no.46233 'Duchess of Sutherland' from the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust, who was due to stay on the line after completing a Steam Dreams trip to Bath the weekend before. However resourcing issues lead to a change of motive power for the Bath tour, and a change of visitor for the gala with B1 no.61306 'Mayflower' stepping in, the change giving the gala an Eastern Region feel. Joining them from the home fleet was Standard 5 no.73082 'Camelot', running as no.73087 'Linette', freshly overhauled Std 4 no.80151 and Q no.30541.
