Hell's Gate Bridge

Nikon N80 - 28-80mm - Fuji T64 - Epson V600

Curious facts:

- This bridge was the inspiration for the design of Sydney Harbour Bridge in Sydney, Australia.

- The bridge would be the last in New York to collapse if humans disappeared, taking at least a millennium to do so, while most other bridges would fall in about 300 years according to the February 2005 issue of Discover magazine.

If somebody knows why it's called "Hell's Gate" let me know. I couldn't find that information anywhere.
