Inspired by a serene few moments with "our lady" of Whitley Bay, just after sunset.
Needed a little "switch off and chill out moment" the other night as I headed home, and I noticed some lovely pastel colours down by St Marys Lighthouse.
There was another tog on the causeway so I figured I'd take the beach location! Luckily for me the tide was on her way out so had plenty beach to play with.
This image was captured just when the day light was fading and the lights on the island had been switched on. I really like calming effect this image has on me so thought I would share!
Also a slight bit of irony in that I had popped into Digitalabs to pick up a 32" x 18" Black & White image of the Lighthouse that's going to be framed & sold at V Gallery in Whitley Bay. So very much a day about "our lady".
Anyhow need to get the old website updated this week, just looking back I have a nice few images to upload and then need to think about getting the old shopping cart function up and running! I need a new camera bag you see! The old one has split at the sides - a bit like my waist line!
Anyhow this was captured with a Lee Soft Grad 0.6 to hold back the light on the lighthouse and a kood ND4 across the water and clouds.
Have a great weekend and hopefully maybe see a few souls out and about this weekend!
