Looks like mornin' in your eyes
But the clocks held 9:15 for hours
Couldn't tempt us if it tried
'Cause the afternoon's already come and gone"
Just like a magpie I had been attracted to the lighthouse in the morning by her lovely pink glow. However, I had planned to go to Charleys Garden to watch the sunrise as I knew the angle would be better!
However, I was where I was! So I tried to balance the sun with the new tip from my flickr buddies (thanks Mick!) of using two ND Grad filters but one upside down! So that way you can try and mask off the sun!
Well it was fun trying, I love the colours of the sky here and also how the lighthouse takes a back seat for a change in the composition. The little trail that leads up to the sunrise wasn't caused by just me!! I know I've got big feet but that's a bit too much! Mind you the ground here had a lovely covering of frost! Very cold on a bald head I can tell you!
Have a great weekend and remember folks Saturday & Sunday head to Longsands for the UK Pro Surf Tour North East Open! £2,000 up for the winner if you fancy a wild card entry! Swell's looking good and sunshine forecast for Saturday!
