A Right Royal Affair
Post Box Portrait - 2009
If you'd told me a year ago that a post box would brighten up my day, I'd have wondered what the hell you were on about and probably told you to shut up and find a stamp collector to speak to.
So, here is me....the newest addition to my Post Box Portrait series, with a special Victorian hexagonal Penfold postbox. This being Victorian means that the post box was installed between 1819 - 1901 when Queen Victoria was reigning Queen. So this box is OLD!
No car beeps for me, but I got a "hello princess" and a man who stopped to ask me if I knew what type of box it was (I think he wanted to impress me with his knowledge but was kinda surprised and disappointed when I said the exact name).
I will be doing a creative one soon, just wanted to do a normal one first! And there was no way I was sitting on that. :0 haha!
In other news, on the way back to the car a dirty looking homeless man shouted out "YOU'RE A TRAMP, AND YOU KNOW YOU ARE". Either he was talking to himself. Or me :( lol
