Super Moon Rising Over Sandias 3.19.2011 © Alix King 2011

The Super Full Moon rises over the Sandia Mountains and shines down on Albuquerque, NM. Shot from the west side volcanos.

It's a super "perigee moon"--the biggest in almost 20 years because the moon is at its closest point in its orbit around the earth.
