Severndroog in the sun
Part of the 52 Weeks of 2018
Theme: Home town charm
This 'folly' is a local landmark, built on the top of Shooters Hill, the highest point in London, Severndroog Castle is somewhere I've photographed before (see here) but I decided to do something different this time.
Visiting on a cold, but sunny windy day gave the the chance for some good light and cloud movement.
Now the castle has been restored, you can go to the top and get amazing views across London (see my panorama here) though sadly it's closed in January and February.
For more information on the castle, visit the website www.severndroogcastle.org.uk/
