Can you explain how your swap was orangized?

HI Amy! Sure. We had a hard time figuring out how to do it but it went like this: We had two categories. First there was "take it of my hands" - the fabric you didn't want to keep no matter what. That's what this photo is of. Everyone put their fabric on the table and everyone dug through and took what they wanted. Since there were about 30 of us at the meeting, and maybe only 20 brought fabric to swap it wasn't too frenzied and worked out fine. Lots of left overs that we're saving to use for guild future projects. And the second category was "make me a deal." That was for the fabric you like but are willing to swap for the right offer. For that people were literally just holding their fabric and discussing one on one. It was a great time and seemed to work smoothly!

This was SUCH a fun night!! I would love if you added these pix to Home Ec. Silverlake!

I'm already setting aside scraps from the shop for our future improv workshop!

Hey Jenny! Done! Didn't want to swamp the group with a ton of quilt show & tell photos so I just put in a couple. Let me know if you wanna 'em all!
