      Looking south to the Bogda Range (Mongolian: Bogd Uul ), which is part of the eastern Tian Shan mountains, and located in Xinjiang, some 60 km east of Ürümqi. The highest elevation is Bogda Feng (5445 m), which is not visible to right of this image. This is the second highest peak of the group, Bogda Uia II (5358 m). Its impressive ice wall is around 2.000m high above the glacier. (See
