Ingrid gets the last rays of afternoon sun: Yoyogi Park, Tokyo
Thomas, my student, Ingrid and I had finished messing with the strobes and had moved across the park a way to a little glade which was getting the last of the sun.
Time for the 85mm and some wide aperture, gently overexposed sort of fun.
Love this kind of high-key shooting, especially for models with skin as good as Ingrid's. Meter off the model's face with spot meter, then overexpose the shot by about a stop or a stop and half. I was shooting into the sun which means I get a lovely blown-out background with all the low cross-light feel to it.
