1971 - Anna, De Gamles By/Old Folks City, Copenhagen
Anna (a patient I minded as an unskilled "nursehelper" in a sick-ward in Old Folks City, Copenhagen in 1971) noticed my nametag and said: That's the name of the priest where I come from.
I replied, then you come from Barløse, 'cause that'll be my grandfather.
What a coincidence, Anna didn't know if it was day or night, summer or winter, but she remembered all what had happened about 50 years ago.
We had many interesting conversations about the life in the vicary, my grandparents and of life in the south of Funen in the 1930's as I often sad by her bedside.
Anna was 94 years old, confined to the bed, had only a few months left and had severe dementia but:
She was such a lovely person!
