Discovering Vampire Weekend (4th/52)

    Newer Older

Update: Cool, my first time on explore, made it to #91.

I was listening to Vampire Weekend this week and I listened to it some more this weekend.

I used Photoshop for this one, which is not something I generally do. I just wanted to crop and have a white frame while keeping the headphones cable over the frame. I found it hard and that's probably not something I'm going to do that often but I still liked the result.

I also applied a CP Dragan cross-process filter in Lightroom. I can't help it, I'm addicted to cross-processing (even though it did screw up the border of the headphones cable in the frame) ;)

this is very cool. are the headphones connected to the sigma?

manyworlds: Nope, I had the headphones cable going over a flower stand (which was a little higher than my camera) next to my tripod so that the cable could hang nicely in the frame ;)

      cross-processing is cool.

This is a really good shot, I may have to buy some cabled headphones just to recreate this picture!
(it is a good album as well, got me hooked the other week)

@amoreena: I think Vampire Weekend is great. I have been listening it a little less in the last week or so but it's still a highlight in my playlist ;)
