Well hello EXPLORE :)
This was one of the results from the Shoot Out yesterday where i helped out Rosie Hardy. The shoot out was different from the usual worshops Rosie usually does, first of all it was on location, which is a first for Rosie in terms of workshops, and secondly instead of her directly instructing she had a kind of free for all in which the photographers could go crazy with their creativity and use one or many of the huge amounts of props Rosie brought along with her.
She had mentioned to me weeks ago this was something she wanted to do and asked if i could come along with her to help where i can and assist in the day, so of course i said hells yeah!!
I think the most rewarding part was watching the photographers go nuts with there imagination and help where i could, and i truly hope i did help.
Both models were fantastic and acting incredibly professional. They did everything that was needed in helping the photographers get the shot and i am truly impressed with thier commitment.
The group was amazing, talking with them about where they are, about where they want to be and about their passion for the medium. They were truly a wonderful bunch of people and it was fantastic to get involved and help where i could whilst showing them tips and instructing where i could.
And of course, Rosie was just amazing to watch, she is truly a fascinating and impressive person, every time i work with her i feel truly lucky and she is fast becoming a valued and treasured friend of mine.
She (with me assisting) will be putting on more of these shoot outs and i will update when they are arranged if anyone is interested to get involved.
Behind the scenes and info will follow on a blog post soon so look out for it :)
Hope you like!
