Yet she failed to break free.
[26 August - 1 September]
So this is the second part of Gina and my collaboration! We wanted our title to be a continuation, as if we were telling a story not only through our photographs but also through our titles. For those of you who aren't aware of our concept, our series is called "Long Distance" and as the title suggests, it basically explores two friends who are from two different worlds and explores their journey of trying to be together. I've loved being able to do this with Gina, we've had so much fun discussing our ideas! There's still another photograph to go! I wanted to keep the theme of my character living in another time period, hence the vintage look enhanced by the texture. This part explores the specific idea of trying to escape from their worlds to meet, but ultimately failing.
This week went by pretty fast. I don't have anything exciting to share other than the fact that my family and I are planning our American trip and are still throwing around ideas as to where we will be visiting. I'm down at my Aunty's property right now and we're all playing Scene It. Earlier on, Christian and I were watching Shrek which was quite freaky because last night we randomly starting quoting it! Haha, it's so much funnier when you're older.
I took a few photos in this outfit so I'll be uploading them throughout the week! :)
Oh and it's Spring now so it's slowly becoming warmer which is pretty exciting! :)
