She longed for their worlds to collide

Newer Older

I am SO excited to be uploading this. It's my first collaboration and it's with the beautiful Gina. We've decided to call this series "Long Distance" & so far it has three parts. It basically explores two friends who are from two different worlds and explores their journey of trying to be together. This first part specifically explores the concept of "longing". I tried to create this character from a different time, to bring a whole new dimension to our idea. I've loved getting to know Gina through the planning process and we've become quite close so I can't wait to create the next part with her :)

I'm at my Aunty's house right now and I have put my time to good use taking photos in all different rooms of her beautiful house. This is my room :)

In other news, I've officially finished my first semester of uni which means I'm on break for fiveand a half weeks! Woo so excited to relax, take photos + have fun :)

Go and check out Gina's photo I can't even begin to describe how amazing it is!!!

FUN FACT: That was my Dad's school back/suitcase thing. It contains old comics, games & those stickers haven't been put on, they've stayed on there from when my Dad was in school.

The vintage feel of this ties in nicely with how people used to communicate with each other without technology back in the day. I love the bedroom setting - there's something about the ling curtains trailing on the floor that makes this image for me. :)
