Atlantic Coast Line 4-6-0, Tenwheeler or Copper Head, Class K-15, Steam Locomotive # 1017, built by Baldwin 1912. This was the last series of true Copper Head locomotives that retained the copper crown at the peak of the stack. These engines were modern for the time because they came with a modern steam chest with piston valves, 200 psi boiler pressure, a superheater and exerted 28,100 pounds of tractive effort using 63 inch drivers.
