International Exhibition of Pictorial Photography
|
Charles M. Kurtz was among the first directors to recognize photography as an art form. Under his direction, he laid the groundwork for the first International Exhibition of Pictorial Photography, which featured the Photo-Secession Group and arranged by Alfred Stieglitz. His successor, Cornelia Bentley Sage Quinton, carried out his plan for this unprecedented exhibition in 1910.
