Louis Llewyllen Lent enlisted in the 202nd Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1916 before transferring to the 31st Battalion of the CEF. He was wounded in combat in 1917 but survived the war. Provincial Archives of Alberta, PR1980.0079/19/171.
