    In the past decade the population of Tricolored blackbirds (Agelaius tricolor) has declined by more than 40%.
    The Tricolored Blackbird was classified as endangered in 2006 by BirdLife International.

      Nat Geo quality. This tricolor really pops against the grey reeds.

      These guys are elusive; at least when I have my camera pointed at them. I have yet to take a good picture of one. I didn't know any information about them before I read your description... I've been meaning to look them up, so... thanks.
