Grim up North, innit?

River Tyne from the 4th floor of Gateshead's Baltic Museum of Modern Art. Newcastle is on the right (north) of the river, Gateshead on this side. That's 'The Sage' building on the left. The Tyne Bridge is further along the river (green-coloured arch). In the right top corner, the yellow-coloured structure is St James' Park stadium, home of Newcastle United. The shot had to be taken through a pane of glass, unfortunately, but still works pretty well. Note the bicycle light trail - I exposed the shot long enough to track the lights as they crossed the Millennium Bridge (I'm that crazy!). By the way, tripods are not allowed in The Baltic, as the security guard on the door warned me, with a wink.
