Mine would lie like this too. It aways made me laugh thinking of him being like a little seal. The other pose that made me laugh was his sphinx pose. He really did look like a little sphinx too.

sew_luvli: Thank you for the fave and comment. Since you are speaking in the past tense, I feel your loss. I will try to get a Sphinx pose in the next month or two and share it with you. My wife has had Bichons since 1962 and we absolutely love them.

They're so lovely! This brought a smile to my face and a little tear to my eye... My beloved bichon, Mr. Destiny, whom I rescued from the streets, dirty, flea-infested and in need of a vet, gave me too few years of happiness before he went to Doggie Heaven... I treasure each moment still...

      Thanks everyone

Wagoneer - thanks. That is a cute Bichie. Hope your son and his family has many wonderful years with this guy. Funny how they are camoflaged in snow. Great Christmas photo from the Mekong Delta. Thanks and welcome home.

Monica - In what country do you live? The Grandfather of our older Bichon was from Brazil. See if there is a Bichon Frise Club in your country. In the United States it is at www.bichon.org/ Through the club, find a reputable Breeder near you. Puppies from Champion stock that could be Champions can be expensive. Puppies from good stock that will not be Champions are less expensive. These are "pet quality". There are also Bichon Rescue organizations that help place Bichons that are relinquished or abandoned by their owners. These can make great pets. Bichons are very playful and affectionate but need lots of attention.
