Superstitions - Flatiron & Siphon Draw from Lost Dutchmans SP

View from the Lost Dutchman State Park of Siphon Draw up to Flatiron, Superstitions Northeast of Apache Junction, Arizona. The Superstition Wildermess is part of the Tonto National Forest.

The Lost Dutchman State Park is at the western end of the Apache Trail. The Apache Trail is 28 miles long and follows the northern edge of the Superstition Wilderness to Roosevelt Dam. It was constructed to build the dam. It took the mule trains 3 days to travel the 28 miles. About 1/2 if the Trail is paved. Several interesting single lane sections and bridges.
